Boris Wiggins

7 [Most] blessed is the man who believes in, trusts in, and relies on the Lord,
and whose hope and confidence is in the Lord. 8 For he shall be like a tree
planted by the waters that spreads out its roots by the river.
(Jeremiah 17:7-8 Amp)

Testimonial

The day before I attended the Kingdom Encouragers men's event; I had already plan on having an affair! As I sat back and watched men write down the things that they were struggling with on paper and place the paper in the red bag that Boris had set aside for us; the red bag represented being under the blood of Jesus! God begin dealing to me about what I was about to do to my marriage. Pastor Rich Oliver spoke a powerful word to us men. I was really blessed by this word from Pastor Rich. Kingdom Encouragers men's event saved me from committing an affair on my wife. Thank youBoris for hosting this powerful event! Keep up the good work my friend!

The Fruit of the Spirit

LOVE

LOVE - Seeks the highest good of others

Definition: Love is not based on emotions or feelings. It is a decision to be committed to the well being of others without any conditions or circumstances.

Exemplified in Jesus: For God so loved the world that he have his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16)

Jesus said: "As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love." (John 15:9)

Jesus said, "My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends if you do what I command." (John 15:12-14)

JOY

JOY - Gladness not based on circumstances

Definition: Joy is more than happiness. It is not based on financial success, good health, or popularity. By believing in God, obeying his will, receiving his forgiveness, participating in fellowship with other believers, ministering to others, and sharing the Gospel, believers will experience joy.

At that time Jesus, full of joy through the Holy Spirit, said, "I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this was your good pleasure." (Luke 10:21)

Jesus said: "I am coming to you now, but I say these things while I am still in the world, so that they may have the full measure of my joy within them." (John 17:13)

PEACE

PEACE - Contentment, unity between people

Definition: Peace is a state of assurance, lack of fear, and sense of contentment. It is fellowship, harmony, and unity between individuals. Peace is freedom from worry, disturbance, and oppressive thoughts.

Exemplified in Jesus: For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David's throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this. (Isaiah 9:6, 7)

PATIENCE

PATIENCE - Slow to speak and slow to anger

Definition: Patience is slowness in avenging wrongs. It is the quality of restraint that prevents believers from speaking or acting hastily in the face of disagreement, opposition, or persecution. Patience is bearing pain or problems without complaining.

Exemplified in Jesus: In a letter to his friend Timothy, the apostle Paul wrote: Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners - of whom I am the worst. But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his unlimited patience as an example for those who would believe on him and receive eternal life. Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen. (1 Timothy 1:15-17

KINDNESS

KINDNESS - Merciful, sweet, and tender

Definition: Kindness is an eagerness to put others at ease. It is a sweet and attractive temperament that shows friendly regard.

Exemplified in Jesus: But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit. (Titus 3:4. 5)

And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. (Ephesians 2:6, 7)

GOODNESS

GOODNESS - Generous and open hearted

Definition: Goodness is selfless desire to be open hearted and generous to others above what they deserve

Exemplified in Jesus: But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life. (Titus 3:4-7)

FAITHFULNESS

FAITHFULNESS - Dependable, loyal, and full of trust

Definition: Faithfulness is firm devotion to God, loyalty to friends, and dependability to carry out responsibilities. Faith is the conviction that even now God is working and acting on one's behalf.

Exemplified in Jesus: Righteousness will be his (Jesus') belt and faithfulnessthe sash around his waist. (Isaiah 11:5)

When seeing a vision of Jesus, John said: "I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True." (Revelation 19:11a)

But Christ is faithful as a son over God's house. And we are his house, if we hold on to our courage and the hope of which we boast. (Hebrews 3:6)

GENTLENESS

GENTLENESS - Humble, calm, non-threatening

Definition: Gentleness is humble non-threatening demeanor that derives from a position of strength and authority, and is useful in calming another's anger. Gentleness is not a quality that is weak and passive.

Exemplified in Jesus: Jesus said: "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." (Matthew 11:28-30)

Matthew quoted Zechariah 9:9 in reference to Jesus' triumphal entry: "Say to the Daughter of Zion, 'See, your king comes to you, gentle and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey." (Matthew 21:5)

SELF-CONTROL

SELF-CONTROL - Behaving well

Definition: Self-Control is to restrain one's emotions, actions, and desires, and to be in harmony with the will of God. Self-control is doing God's will, not living for one's self.

Exemplified in Jesus: On the night Jesus was betrayed, he knelt down and prayed, "Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done." (Luke 22:41, 42)

When they (his accusers) hurled their insults at him (Jesus), he did not retaliate; when he (Jesus) suffered, he made no threats. Instead he entrusted himself to him who judges justly. (1 Peter 2:23)
